It speaks for itself.
So what has Trump done that you oppose?

Of course these tariffs not only harm consumers they also harm investors. Including myself. Milton Friedmanís 1973 article in Newsweek opposing tariffs on the Japanese applies to tariffs on China today. I suggest true conservatives read it.
I will gladly live under Chinese rule in exchange for a 5% uptick in my 401k.

False dichotomy. Not a good debate tactic but then tariffs canít be defended rationally.

Zero gains in last 17 months in the market and you keep calling it strong. The market is doing bad, - very bad.

You'll have to take that up with the left and/or Dems. I only speak for myself. Peronally I was punished bug time with the changes in the tax law in 2018, and now I am published again by the tax hikes on imports.

Having said that, if you are republican, how can you support such massive tax hikes and government regulation, which your party supposedly opposed?

I just watched a video clip from a speech that said that at the time of the civil war - no Republican owned slaves. There were 4 million slaves in America at that time and they were ALL owned by democrats. Why on earth would anyone want to be a democrat based on that history?
Times change. You wouldn't have your Social Security and Medicare if Republicans had their way.

The Mexico tariffs won't last a month.

Illegal non-Mexican MIGRATION is WHOLLY SEPARATE FROM Illegal Drug Infiltration.

Mexico's DRUG corruption.., being the DIRECT RESULT of American appetite for drugs is defensible.

On the hand, Mexico SHOULD be held accountable for NON-MEXICAN migration across 2,000 miles of their country.

The BIG question is whether the American public can take a little economic hardship.

If Americans are so spoiled that they can't endure this relatively inconsequential and short-lived riff with Mexico...,
WE MIGHT AS WELL HAND THE KEYS OVER TO CHINA RIGHT NOW.
