When it is built and starts making big money who will be given credit? Obama or Trump? It was proposed while Obama was in office and of course blocked but I bet he will be given credit for it unless of course there is a spill then that will be Trumps fault.

Build it and lets call it part of MAGA.

TRans Canada had suspended this project because of the hassles.

Wonder how long it will take to start it up again and if it is still cost effective.

I wonder if people know that the pipeline will only move Canadian oil to ships at the Port of Houston where it will go overseas and do nothing to our supply here.

Easy answer, NO.

All that drama on the Right and not a single benefit to Americans.

Really? Not a "single benefit" to being an energy exporter?

Between US production and Canadian production we are nearly independent of foreign sources. Canadian oil is helping to replace oil imported from many counties whether we use it or it's ultimately exported as refined product. Where it ends up will ultimately be determined by the market, as demand increases those exports will taper off as there is only so much refining capacity. It won't be going anywhere if there is demand for it here.
