Joe has now joined the progressives ideas on federal funding of abortion again. I thought he was going to be the moderate Democrat to win back center of the country?

Joe Biden Denounces Hyde Amendment, Reversing His Position
By Whitney Hurst, Sarah Stein Kerr and Natalie Reneau

Joseph R. Biden Jr., the presumed front-runner for the Democratic nomination, denounced his past support of the Hyde Amendment, saying he could not support a measure that bans federal funding for most abortions.
After two days of intense criticism, Joseph R. Biden Jr. reversed himself Thursday night on one of the issues most important to Democratic voters, saying he no longer supports a measure that bans federal funding for most abortions.

As recently as Wednesday, Mr. Biden’s campaign had said he supported the measure, known as the Hyde Amendment. His decision to change positions illustrates the intense pressure he faces as the presumed front-runner for the Democratic nomination for president.

Scary. This man would be 80 years old in his second year in office.

Poor Old Uncle Joe. That could be a title to a song.. He has been in politics for so long that he remembers the days when the Democrat party was actually working for the common man. He is also so old that he might remember the time that the Dems were pro slavery and Jim Crow...

Biden has been sheltered from politics for 8 years as VP and he has missed out on seeing his party transform into a group of far out Left field whackos.

I think he might be too old to keep up with what the Left is peddling these days.

I'm sure if he goes far in his campaign there will be plenty of videos that show him staunchly supporting something 10-20-30 years ago that he is now flip flopping on to try and pander to the masses.

Poor Old Uncle Joe.

Repeat this until it soaks in - Joe Biden is the walking, talking definition of a wind vane candidate. He is a professional rider of cultural narrative coattails. He waits for someone else to say something, see if it polls well, and if it does, then he he grabs the bullhorn and says "yeah, what they said!!!"

That is exactly everything you get with Joe Biden as your representative. A guy who represents that most annoying trait of hipsters, where he waits for something to be cool or popular and then claims he was into it before anyone else.

The man has never held an original idea or position in his entire life. He is a follower, through and through.
