A sea change has taken place in American political life. The force driving this change is the digital era style of moral politics known as “wokeness,” a phenomenon that has become pervasive in recent years and yet remains elusive as even experts struggle to give it a clear definition and accurately measure its impact. Where did it come from? What do its adherents believe? Is it just something happening inside the Twitter bubble and on college campuses or is it really spreading across the social and cultural landscape and transforming the country
Virtue-signaling, self-loathing have been a part of the educational system for some time but it is self-loathing that can lead to a sever mental issue. Can it be isolated as a factor ? Not necessarily but when combined with drug use and other factors it can't be eliminated either. Its a serious issue all by itself and its obvious and indoctrinated in undeveloped minds at an early and ever earlier age. What part does it play in the increased suicide rates ? No one knows and that's not likely to change b/c many times there are multiple factors involved.
Its a bad and harmful practice and when its done its not in the best interest of the person receiving such indoctrination/education.
Jewish Demwits remind me of the Jews in Nazi Germany, early on. The rich, educated and professional classes thought the Nazis would make them the exception when they started rounding up the poor Jews in the ghetto. They learned the hard way that wasn't the case.
Those who forget history are condemned to repeat it.
I truly do think that these young white liberals have convinced themselves that white = bad and POC = good. That's why we see Democrats race to the defense of POC even in the face of the most heinous comments and attitudes.
