I think those that find him creepy are just projecting their own perverted undertones.
Joe is a warm guy, who comes from an era when you didn't have to act a certain way to appease the 24-hour news cycle. His biggest crime is not adjusting to the projections of closeted perverts, pedophiles and homosexuals. They are easy to identify, because they are the ones who scream the loudest about the subject.
No, I don't find his behavior creepy, however I DO find it inappropriate (not because it's creepy, but because there are people out there who will exploit it, just like we see in this thread).

Sure, Joe is a warm guy... to little girls; he all but ignored all the boys in that cringe worthy video... creepy!
I think he's from a different era when it was ok to touch women, it is a little creepy that he feels it ok to touch kids that aren't his. Curious to see if any of any of this will be brought up during the debates. If a few women candidates successfully ambush him during the debate, it will surely bring down his numbers with female voters. They risk though not being selected VP on his ticket if he's the Dem nominee. It's definitely going to be an interesting first debate. Just to bad they aren't putting all 20+ candidates on stage at once.
