Well I would say that Biden's hands are still strong and his sense of smell is still keen.

So why is Biden hiding from the people. His biggest competitor isn't.

From my perspective, given his age, Biden doesn't seem to lack energy. Sanders, seems to have plenty of energy, but doesn't look like he could lift 10 pounds. Trump has shown on many occasions that he has the energy of a much younger person.

Yea Sanders and Trump appear to be more energetic. Biden looks more the part of the old man. Truth is though they are ALL too old to be president.

Bernie Sanders 77
Donald Trump 73 this week
Joe Biden 76

Without basing your opinion on what each stands for and whether you agree or disagree with any of them, would you say that Biden looks physically weak and is not as sharp in comparison to those other two 70+ year olds in their public appearances? I say "public appearances" because that's what we have to base it on with our own two eyes and ears rather than some media type's opinion.

I think Biden's on top now due to name recognition with the average Democrat voter (as opposed to what he's saying or stands for) just like Jeb Bush was on top, followed by Scott Walker, at this time in the polling in 2015. Trump (declared his candidacy on June 16, 2015) wasn't even in the race, yet.
I haven't seen Biden's appearance, so I have no opinion. I will say, however, that on paper, I suspect that Trump would seem to be the least healthy of the four, and I should perhaps remind people that both FDR and JFK had serious health problems but managed well.

I agree that Biden is definitely benefiting from name recognition - but, then again, no one more so than Trump.
