Not according to Bloomberg. They're expected to drop an average of 16 cents over the coming days/weeks (a 11.3% decline and roughly $1,500 in yearly savings).

If they stayed there for a year. They will not. As I've noted many times, too much unnecessary volatility.

Hooray for the conservative agenda! Your shortsightedness has cost Louisianans far more than if they had kept Medicaid and welfare benefits in place! Once again, if welfare spending is cut, taxpayers still pay for poor people. We pay for them or we pay for them. Poor people don't magically become rich just because you don't want to pay taxes to cover them. Think. Medicaid benefits are cut. Poor people can't afford birth control. The Hyde amendment is still in place and LA banned abortions just recently because Republicans are "pro-life" (until someone is born.) So poor people had a kid they didn't want and can't afford. Guess what? You're paying more for them than you would have otherwise because they take their children to the emergency room when they have the flu rather than to the doctor because they don't have Medicaid. Wow. What a win for you. Besides, I'm not buying the claim that LA has lots of transportation projects going for one second. I've driven on your roads and they are in atrocious condition. You need the gas tax raised. You have huge potholes, grooved pavements that are never smoothed over, bridges that look like they are about to fall into the sea, and your traffic problem is terrible as in many other cities.

I was merely countering the claim that gas prices aren't falling much at all.

At the present time, they are.

Which shows the Trump policy of maximizing U.S. supply affects world markets and the global price of energy. Our increased production and the uninterrupted supply from other countries help keep prices low HERE.

The lower pricies are impressive as this is the time we get price increases due to increased demand for SUMMER TRAVEL.
