Congress is too busy doing the two things they do best: 1. running for re-election and 2. wasting time (in this case, investigating Trump)…. to get any real work done. They are an embarrassment and it's getting worse.

Perhaps Congress can be shamed into doing their job.

Nothing else seems to work.

Nice to see someone speak honestly and openly to Congress and call them out to do the job they were elected to!

I think he's 56, so has a few years left in him yet.

Stewart was very good on the 'Daily Show', and it sadly just wasn't the same when he left, indeed Trevor Noah had an impossible job replacing Stewart.

Flicking through the satellite channels in the UK, I sometimes watch Late Night with Seth Meyers, who can also be quite funny and who does a very entertaining Trump impression.

Watched it on the news this morning. Very powerful stuff, John did an awesome job calling them what they are. I hope this gains some momentum and we see some changes.

It was Bill Maher who refused to call the 9/11 terrorists cowards and instead called the US cowards for lobbing cruise missiles thousands of miles away in safety. That got his show cancelled. Maher's back sniping at Joe Biden, so you can see there is a rift with the far left progressives and Joe Biden.
Off topic? No. Stewart and Maher are most definitely cut from the same cloth and on the same team so look to see where Stewart is going with this and who he's trying to help. I'll make it easier and say that Stewart is slamming the DC establishment so that's a slap at Biden. He's standing up for veterans( even while dissing our military actions) so that's a plug for Pete Buttigieg.
The knives are out among the progressives and the goblets are full of poison. This is going to be fun to watch.

Most of those who haven't been pulling their weight with this issue are conservative.
