It is heartbreaking to see these first repsonders have to fight every year for more funds to help them with healthcare costs for what they endured on 9/11. Jon Stewart appears before Congress.
We have to stop making them beg for funding for their care.

Why aren't Trump and McConnell teaming up to fund 9/11 victims? Trump's from New York. Where's his leadership? Oh yeah, he's too busy watching Fox News and playing golf.

Remember, it was the Repubs who grabbed the flag and said, "Never forget!"

Now the GOP, who controls the purse strings, are turning their backs on 9/11 firefighters.

Disgusting. Shame on Trump, shame on Repubs in Congress.

The 'power of the purse' is Nancy's bailiwick.

What money?

And why doesn't Trump, being from NY and all, care about these guys?

She can write funding bills until the cows come home and it means nothing unless McConnell and Trump support them. She can't approve funds all by herself. Nice try.

This is all on the Republican's watch.
