I'm glad we are going to monitor their progress because I don't trust Mexico.

Unless they went with a bucket of money some new irrigation tools for the drought that they’re having I doubt much will come of it

US to send teams to Central America to stop invasion from there

I will assume for arguments sake that this is a serious proposal ...

... with the permission of those governments, I hope. We need to be careful with a project of this type, it won't play well in the world media if we are jackbooting around roughing up hungry and scared women and children in a foreign country. If this is a serious proposal they really need to think this through carefully, and quite frankly this administration is not used to that much deep and careful thought.

It sounds to me like another Stephen Miller brainstorm.

This should have been the first response. It is the most cost-effective and will have the most immediate impact. Building a wall would cost a fortune and it would take time to construct it properly. As we are seeing slapping up a fence or iron gate doesn't seem to keep migrants out.
