Those who describe America as "A Nation of Immigrants" totally ignore the FACT and history that Indegenious Native Americans and African American Slaves did not "Immigrate" to the United States of America. To describe the make-up of America as otherwise is an insult to the history of Native Americans who were here in America long before white Europeans arrived and also insulting to the history of African American Slaves, who were brought to America against their own will...shackled and chained.

Yes, America is a nation of Indegenious Native Americans, descents of former African American Slaves and Immigrants.
A lot of European Whities were sent to the North American lands against their will. Should they raise a fuss about it too?

Africans immigrated to America not by choice but rather by force. Those sold into slavery either would travel to America or die. I'd argue they still immigrated. Natives you are right, but natives were NOT Americans under the Constitution.

How is one a native if they crossed a land bridge to get here? That made them immigrants to. No one that was born here is an immigrant either. They are native born U.S. citizens (except for the anchor babies of illegal aliens).

America has no native ethnicity as in Ireland has "Irish"..one may say native Americans are very close could be a native ethnicity...however i recently saw evidence of Australian aborigines having preceded the oriental natives and the american Indians in fact murdered aborigines to displace THEM...this if true and widespread would just be evidence that we ALL belong to the human race and its long past time to disregard race

Compare the population of the United States in 1800 to the population of the United States in 2019.

That will give you your answer.
