Not sure where you work at but maybe change is in order, the company I work for can not and will not fire you for being gay, trans, whatever. We've (and many other companies here in MI) actually maintained a perfect score on the Corporate Equality Index administered by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation.

I'm talking about federal protections just like religious people have under the CRA.

Trump admin cut funding for AIDS research.
Trump admin has new policy stating transgender Americans would not be guaranteed health care protections under the Affordable Care Act.
Trump admin now allows adoption agencies to deny people because they are LGBT.

While I completely disagree with what Trump did with the visa's, wasn't it just making it the same for both gay and hetero spouses ?

As far as the Transgender thing goes, that is an entire other topic. I'm actually surprised that gay individuals want them in their group.

As far as adoptions , it is only "faith" based agencies that are effected, and if the state is involved with them, they have to follow the anti discriminatory laws of the state.

Gender Dysphoria is a debilitating mental illness and has the highest rates of suicide in the world.
Mentally ill people are not allowed to be apart of our military, where mental awareness is so important.
In our past history, they were kept from the public and society, because of their unpredictable and irrational characteristics of their mental illness.

Everyone knew he was lying, perhaps even to himself about being against same sex marriage for that brief interlude period, but first get into office then you can do or bidding was in effect. And besides his opponent was also against same sex marriage

Interesting, He was against it in '08, as was Biden.

Trump is clearly anti-LGBT....Obama allowed the embassies to put up the Pride flag...Obama bathed the Whitehouse in the Rainbow colors when the SCOTUS rightly ended the ban on SSM. Trump placed 2 idiots on the SCOTUS that wouldn't have rightfully ended the SSM ban. Trump banned US Embassies from flying the Pride Flag this month. Trump is terrible for our nation and especially our LGBTQ community.

So surely you also strongly feel that gays should have the same right to discriminate against straights whenever they feel like, such as refusing to hire them for jobs because they are straight, instead of gay, for starters. NO special rights for straights.

If a homosexual is harassing you to engage in sex, you don't have to put up with it.

You seem overly obsessed with "evil people forcing their things down your throat". Just keep your mouth shut. Problem solved.

Religious belief is already covered, people can not be fired because of their religious belief in fact businesses must make reasonable accommodations for those with religious beliefs. I can be fired from my job or kicked out of housing or refused service in a business because I am LGBT, but a person can't be fired, lose housing, or be denied services based on their religious beliefs.
Yes, more people are likely denied because they are LGBT. However, even just one instance of a person being fired, losing their home, or denied services because of their religious beliefs proves you wrong. I don't know how often this happens to a person because of their religious beliefs but rarely happening is a lot different than not happening at all.
