So she lives in a country that that has sports programs like no other since the USSR for women, but somehow feels oppressed. At least not as oppressed as the Christian girl they kicked off the team for refusing the wear a rainbow LGBTQ jersey earlier in the season.
In a country where:

Life expectancy is higher for women
Health coverage is higher for women
Drug/alcohol abuse is lower for women
Suicide rate is lower for women
Likelihood to die on the job is lower for women
Homelessness is lower for women

"War on women" my a--....

If there is a "war" on anyone in America today, it is CLEARLY men.

She's one angry ungrateful woman.

U.S. Women's Soccer captain Megan Rapinoe slams FIFA over proposal for $60million World Cup prize money - as men's winnings will balloon to $440million in 2022

Probably French people saying that. The world thinks even less of him than MOST Americans do. Anyway, Trump is not America. Trump is a international pariah. America is OK and was a much more decent place before Trump came around..

I actually don't think it would be a "huge deal in most countries". The US likely cares more about women's soccer than anywhere else in the world.

Though I don't agree with Rapinoe, she pulled off something. I now know who she is. Before her tirade against the president I'd have been surprised if 1 in 100 Americans could have named her if shown her picture. A month ago I couldn't have named a single team member or have told you the World Cup was about to start.

They should focus on their win then, and not on politics in the field, if they want to be taken seriously as athletes. The fact is that as a percentage of revenue produced by the soccer organizations, women get paid more (13%) of revenue than men (9%) of revenue.

Men's soccer simply generates more revenue, yet still the women take home a larger percentage. So, receiving the exact same amount of money, dollar per dollar makes absolutely no sense at all.

How do you know they were liberals? I know Republicans who can't stand Trump & would gladly join in on that chant.

The video by Fox News did make me laugh a little. Not only did they keep on airing, but then they proceeded to interview the person who started the chant.
