Another angry disgruntled athlete that’s upset about things so wants to take it out on the anthem and Trump. I really wish that all these “oppressed “ dips**ts would really leave America since they hate it sooooooo much.

No, athletes do not have to shut up. Even though Pinoes's comments attacking the president were over the top and in bad taste, athletes have every right to use their influence and talk the issues. It is only when one does not agree with their stance they say "shut up and play".

On the world stage is no place for this kind of thing and poor sportsmanship OTT celebrations make the team look small.

What kind of person hopes an athlete suffers an injury based on their political leanings? Apparently a Trump supporter. Pretty sick if you ask me.

I believe she is afraid of Trump as most women are. Trump did say, "I grab them by the *****," and he has a history of groping and raping women.

Isn't it odd that many CD's have their panties in a bunch over a soccer gal when Comrade Trump is trashing the Constitution.

When you are United States team, you ARE representing the United States. Many a non dem athlete have gone to the White House when obama invited the teams went.

If you DON'T want to show respect for your country, DON'T play for a U.S. team.

Many have said sports is NO place for politics.

What is your stance when football players "celebrate" with their OTT antics after scoring a touchdown, etc?
