Then don't complain about the social ills that result from hordes of unwanted and inadequately raised children.

They'll blame Democrats then vote to raise taxes to build prisons, fund the death penalty (generally more expensive than incarceration) and buy more guns to protect themselves. But find birth control and sex ed for a fraction of the cost? "Not on my dime!!"

Brilliant. You've solved everything. Now that you've said so, people who can't afford kids will practice abstinence and/or perfect birth control!
To where shall we deliver your Nobel Prize?
Also, there are plenty of Republicans who carelessly impregnate women as well. If anything, the types of idiots who do that are unlikely to care about current events or the state of the world at all, so neither Democrat or Republican.
You did write: "people who can't afford kids will practice abstinence and/or perfect birth control!"

Unfortunately, many wealthier women will just travel out the country for an abortion, and poorer women will just end up with children they can't afford to properly raise (and if they don't even have the self control to use condoms, they're likely psychologically/intellectually incapable of properly parenting their kids as well).
