I disagree with "possibly jailed" ....... Jail Time is the only thing that will keep the US Government Law Enforcement and National Security authorities from spying on a Political Candidate in an attempt to swing an Election. It has to stop NOW and we need to know exactly WHO did WHAT.
Russia didnt hack hillary's emails. China did though. Podesta fell for a phishing scheme and was hacked.
If the DNC would have let the FBI examine their hard drive, then we could say for sure. Not just give it to their paid minions, ie Crowdstrike, and have them say what they were told to say. But that would have exposed their criminal doings.
Yes, if there is alleged wrongdoings or substantiated accusations of using foreign governments to help win the election. I don't care which party is alleged, it should be investigated period.

Trump then changed the GOPs stand on Russia and the US stand, trying to lift the crushing sanctions put on Russian Oligarchs. And when FBI started investigation into how, why and where the Russians where interfering in the US election, Trump decided to fire the head of the FBI because he would not kiss his ring and stop that investigation... Triggering an investigation into Trump.
He then hid evidence, told others to lie for him, threatened witnesses, dangled pardons over convicted persons to lie to the investigation. This is not making up facts.. these are documented FACTS. Not from the Steele dossier.. IF any Democrat does the same.. sure, investigate them.

Democrats are being investigated now courtesy of US Attorney John Durham. He has a good track record of convicting dirty cops including the FBI. He just got another shedload of documents and has leased more office space and staff because the case keeps growing as foreign intelligence agencies come clean. Biggest abuse of power scandal in US history!

There is nothing that is sacred about a political party.
When the "party" has deteriorated into a hate group that fosters overt acts against Americans, colludes with foreign powers, advocates unconstitutional acts, or the overthrow of constitutional authority, it should be investigated. Nazi and Communist parties were investigated. If a party turns into an arm of a demagogue who holds the constitution in contempt, their actions should be subject to scrutiny. There was ample evidence that Trump's campaign had crossed the line with a conspiracy to collude with a foreign power. Trump has money ties to Russia and intentionally surrounded himself with people that had active ties to Russia and Ukraine. If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, looks like a duck, it must be a duck.
