This seems to be more and more common. The police involved should always have a unbiased, external third-party investigation.

There is so much rage and anger in many of these cities from people who were raised by terrible, absentee parents that literally any thing that can be used as an excuse to riot sets a large number of people off.

I would venture to guess that the tax-base being as depleted as it is many cities, means that only one or two police officers can show up to defuse a very dangerous situation. So they likely tend to overreact more than they would if these nearly-bankrupt cities had an adaquate response.

But the level of anger, rage and social unrest seems to be ever increasing in many American cities.

There is deep social rot in many cities. Generations of unwed pregnancies, lack of community, massive amounts of children raised by low-IQ people who can't take care of themselves means these cities are likely to have major problems in the near future.

Wasn't this the plan all along? They are guaranteed democrat voters for life, after all. And when democrats have problems, what do they do? Expand the size of the government, and make the rest of us pay.

surprised it took this long for this to go up.

US marshalls did the shooting, so no body cams.

Quote:
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigations said authorities from the US Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force encountered a male wanted on multiple warrants. While attempting to arrest him, he rammed his vehicle into the officer’s vehicles, then exited the vehicle with a weapon. He was shot and killed by officers. No officers were injured during that encounter.

Memphis has been a rough city from day one. I'm surprised there haven't been MORE riots.

From what I understand they guy had many warrants. If the marshals were after him it was probably pretty bad. Not that the rioters care about details. If the cops shoot someone, they riot.

^It's called anger. This is what some people do when they are angry. It isn't going to matter what the details are. Not say they should. I'm saying it is what it is. This is how some people handle perceived injustices: Violence. The idea of "violence is the only way to get someone's attention".

Think of it this way, local autonomy is removed through corporate ownership of things like the police. Then that's when **** really hits the fan when the corporations and state finally fuse into one entity and we get things like a gestapo or nationalized police force. But it requires making society so dysfunctional before people will give away their autonomy.

What do YOU think is a good solution for this?

So the guy was wanted by the police for MULTIPLE offenses. In a chase, he rams a cop car, gets out with a gun, then everyone is surprised when he is shot? That is what we call the police doing their duty to a criminal.

However, in America, it is increasingly difficult for the police to do their jobs, due to attacks by PC groups. Are blacks exempt from the normal laws of the state and country? It is akin to the black trio who robbed a grocery store near Oberlin College, then cried "racism" for being arrested!

The only way violence, poverty, poor education, and lack of achievement in the black community will change is through the efforts of those individuals. If inner city blacks are waiting for someone to come and drop pennies from heaven on them and make everything ok, they will be waiting forever.

If you don't like living in a crap hole- change it. Don't riot against the cops when they are doing their job. What will the result be? The same police force will choose to no longer go into these violent areas and leave the locals to their own devices. That is what happens in East St. Louis and South Chicago.

Maybe there would be less anger in Memphis if so many on welfare wouldn't have sat at home and delivered baby after baby that they don't have the IQ level to take of.

Sort of interesting how the local populous feels like they have need to resort to violence to get someones attention. Is it because they were raised by welfare queens and kings who were to busy selling drugs and getting pregnant every 9 months? Is it because the local politicians are all corrupt and only in it for themselves?
