Republicans need to step up the chatter about Bill Weld. Independent voters will determine the next election like always, but they are all focused on the Democratic mob scene.

Weld is a Harvard educated ex-governor with a record of winning in a blue state. At the moment, he is the only candidate standing up to the regressive takeover of the Republican Party. If we leave the future of America in the hands of the tea baggers, we sign a death warrant for our republic. We have to shift the party back to responsible conservatism.

Weld hasn't won an election in 20 something years and has no support within the Republican Party. For better or worse Trump will be the Republican nominee in 2020 and he will be taking on whoever prevails in the Democratic mob scene.I'm not sure if Trump will win again but I guarantee you he will be the nominee.

I wonder if Trump will find Weld important enough to give him a nickname.

Eh, no thanks. A vote for Weld is a vote for whichever communist emerges from the Democrat clown car at the end of the day.

Weld is getting frozen out by the liberal media because they are terrified that Republicans will nominate a competent and honest candidate in 2020. Somebody needs to rescue the Republican Party, and Weld is the only candidate who even wants to try.

I don't intend to be personal with this, but you are out of your mind with that reasoning.

He is right. Anybody who doesn't spend all their time ranting and raving about illegal immigrants or conspiracy theories or how ugly some woman is, is not going to get most republicans excited these days. A sane, intelligent and gentlemanly person is going to be considered 'boring' by most of the GOP these days.

Do you really think the media would be terrified about a Trump competitor? Just stop.

You know if Democrats like him, he is a sure loser. If we want a wimpy northeast rino, we have a powder puff rino named Mitt Romney

Those of us that have faith in our current economic system aren`t worried about communism. What is it about Capitalism that worries you so much?
