However, no matter how many polls I show you that demonstrate he has a double digit lead over Trump, I'll still hear the same nonsense: "The polls are all made up....blah blah blah". Why? Because that is what Trump supporters want to believe. The truth is that until Election Day I have no way of proving them wrong.
My intention is to wait until 2020. I think November will be a very bleak month for republicans.
why should Biden beat him
he has been in politics for 33 years and has accomplished nothing
he has no real core beliefs, folds like a cheap suit constantly
has a terrible foreign policy record
he is already a two time loser
Trump is a great campaigner and knows how to zero in on opponents weaknesses and hammer them over and over
I know you guys think Biden is entitled to the presidency and will waltz into the office like Hillary was supposed to, but reality is often disappointing. The truth is Biden is going to have the work for it and judging by his record, he will struggle
I think what people are in favor of now is an Impeachment Inquiry.
Then when all the deeds are laid out in public, the push for actual impeachment comes, like with Nixon.
Exactly right. Many previously obscured details could be exposed in the impeachment proceedings by the House. There might be so many egregious crimes by Trump uncovered, that enough of the Republicans in the Senate would know they would be tossed out of office in the next election, if they didn't convict him. His plot to undermine our whole nation could be there for all to see and no excuse could be made to just keep looking the other way. The apathy of the Republicans has caused them to have painted themselves into a corner. What remnants of their party might be salvaged, have an expiration date on them. To dither around any longer and all will be lost to them.

This sounds like more of a fantasy in your head than reality.
That's didn't take long. The numbers will be even higher once underlying evidence is exposed and hearing/testimony is started. Yet Trump is trying to start a war to improve his chances of reelection, the same thing he accused President Obama of doing. Trump is a clear hypocritical lying con man in action. So much for Trump supporters claims of impeachment helping reelections. In fact, polls and approval ratings say the exact opposite.
538: Trump's adjusted approval ratings currently stands at 42.5%
Trump's impeachment number is higher than his approval rating! Pretty difficult to get reelected with those numbers....
Another shocking Fox News poll was the one right before the election predicting a Hillary landslide of epic proportions. The Fox News pollsters are like most pollsters, trying to establish a narrative favorable to Democrats.
I'd guess that roughly half the country has supported impeachment for the past 25 years, with the half flip-flopping every 4-8 years.
