The Iranian people are actually pretty decent folks. Prior to the Mullahs, they were very western and a secular state.
I know a few who fled the regime and they are as western as we are. Let's hope that the Mullahs are overthrown by their own people and that a conflict does not erupt in which innocent civilians, who don't even like their leaders, are killed.

Threatening an attack on their nation would only strengthen the Mullahs position of power within Iran society. People don't look for governmental change while on the eve of war. Also the Mullahs in Iran have been portraying America as the boogeyman for the last 40 years. If we attack their country, it would mean that they have been right all along.

As long as you bring up Pearl Harbor and 9/11, can you connect the dots between Iran and any such attack on U.S. soil? Because as noted before, when I review the history of our involvement vs Iran's, it always seems we're in their sand box. Not much them in ours.

Right. If we're going to devote these kinds of resources toward "nation building," maybe we should devote our resources closer to home and build Mexico so Mexicans can make more money there rather than come to America where Americans are more than glad to pay them to work here?
