I hate to break it to you, but Obama was respected around the world.

Trump, on the other hand, is laughed at, often to his face. Trump is now embarrassing himself bigly, bigly, bigly with those lies about his own internal polls which show him getting crushed (Trump knows he looks bad, he believes in polls). The world can see all of this play out in real time, and people are talking about him everywhere.

Pompeo? meh ... I don't know if he has what it takes to lead this nation. He is pretty smart, but he is a sycophant to a criminal, so he loses points on that score. Pompeo's reputation will ever be scarred by his association with Trump, and his best hope would be to return Kansas and rebuild from there.
