Make no mistake, the 'Great Satan' is a unifier among rogue nations.
Again, you're not making your case. The majority of the Iraqi population is Shia. Saddam and the Government and the Military were Sunni, which are the Saudis, which are "our" Muslims. There's a lot of reasons why that's a bad choice, but not for this discussion.
Following that logic. If they're Iraqi insurgents, which means they're against the Iraqi Government and supporters, that makes them...I'll wait...Shia. Which is the same as Iran. Also, just because they're insurgents, doesn't make them Al Qaeda.

what does the nationalities (where they are born) of the 9/11 attackers have to do with their theological stance ??
? so what does 15 of the attacker being BORN in SA have to do with their GROUP AFFILIATION???

try this scenario...and actual answer it..honestly...

a bunch of former New Yorkers, who still have family in NY and even get money for those families in NY, are now members of a fanatical church in New Jersey, and are living in NJ, they travel all over the USA getting supplies/training/etc....then they bomb an abortion clinic in Pennsylvania ...are you going to blame the government of New York State...or would you blame the fanatical church in New Jersey??????

answer honestly.......
According to this thread, you'd blame Iran and maybe Al Qaeda, depending on the participant, Hillary and/or Obama and the Democrats.

Listen, if you want another pointless war in the Middle East, why don't you and any other warmongers go over and do your own dirty work? Leave the rest of us out of it.

This story has been repeated many times as if it's new.

The Hamburg cell was based in Germany and freely traveled between Germany, US, Afghanistan, and Pakistan. It's common practice by the CIA to let these groups transit through the US in the hopes of turning some of them into assets.

The CIA was tracking the hijackers for several years and allowed them to get into the US without warning the FBI.

2002

There's a long list of warnings by foreign agencies who were tracking the plot on this site and others.

I hear Iran was responsible for the attack on Nancy Kerrigan. Grab your guns, we're going to war.

Iran Admits To Facilitating 9/11 Terror Attacks

Iranian officials, in a first, have admitted to facilitating the 9/11 terrorist attacks in the U.S. by secretly aiding the free travel of al Qaeda operatives who eventually went on to fly commercial airliners into the Twin Towers in New York City, according to new remarks from a senior Iranian official.

Based on translations from comments made by Mohammad-Javad Larijani, an international affairs assistant in the Iran's judiciary...

"Our government agreed not to stamp the passports of some of them because they were on transit flights for two hours, and they were resuming their flights without having their passports stamped. However their movements were under the complete supervision of the Iranian intelligence," Larijani was quoted as saying.

The remarks represent the first time senior Iranian officials have publicly admitted to aiding al Qaeda and playing a direct role in facilitating the 9/11 attacks.

...
Larijani admitted that Iranian officials did not stamp the passports of the al Qaeda militants in order to obfuscate their movements and prevent detection by foreign governments. Al Qaeda operative also were given safe refuge in Iran.

Meanwhile, 15 of the 19 9/11 terrorists were Saudis.

Sunni Islam is not a sect.

Sunni is to Islam as Protestantism is to Christianity.

Shi'a is to Islam as Catholicism/Orthodoxy is to Christianity.

The Shi'a are like Orthodox/Catholics in every way. They have saints, icons, believe in the power of relics, have holy places and shrines. The Shi'a make pilgrimages to view relics or visit holy places and shrines.

The Sunni are like Protestants. No saints, although the Lutheran sect has saints, Lutheranism is basically Catholic-lite with 1/3rd less papacy, no icons, no relics, no holy places aside from Mecca, and no shrines aside from Mecca.

Those similarities continue further, because suicide is mortal sin to Shi'a, just as it is to Catholics and Orthodox.

Shi'a suicide bomber is an oxymoron.

The Sunni, like Protestants, do not view suicide as a sin, and that's why you have Sunni suicide bombers.

Sunnis are also evangelical, just like evangelical Protestantism.

There are certainly extremist sects in Islam, just as there are extremist sects in Protestantism.

Just like certain Protestant sects play with snakes, so do certain Sunni sects. "Speaking-in-tongues," there are Sunni sects that do that, too. Some Sunni sects combine Animism.

In big cities like Cairo, you have McIslam just like you have McChurch in the US, you know, like Vineyard and others.

You all have a lot more in common than most believe.
