As hot as some cities in the US get these days, Its strange we still see the common summer apparel being, shorts t-shirts, generally less clothing, when traditionally, in very hot regions, the idea is to wear long sleeves, long pants, robes, turbans, etc, the layering actually works to keep the person cooler from what Ive read on it.

Linen is probably the best material for keeping cool, while cotton is the worst (yet that is usually what most peoples t shirts and shorts are made of??) I guess we are just not acclimated to dealing with high heat yet.

Question - what is "smashing" a record? Does that mean if the record high was say, 95 degF, that every year it will go up like 50 degF? As in, will my NE Ohio summers be like 145 degF? Or does it just mean that the new temp is any number higher than the previous record, where it was 95 degF and the new record is 95.1 degF?

Trying to figure out what "smashing" a record means?

Well, not for environmental reasons anyway. Healthwise, cutting meat out my diet made me so much healthier in all ways, as much as it kills me to admit (because animals are damn tasty lol).
I became much more healthy cutting the carbs and eating more meat. It is not the meat but what else you eat with it that causes harm.

I am fine with lab grown meat but last I checked it cost $20k to make a pound of it. We have a ways to go.

AOC said we could cool it down if everyone runs their air conditioner with the windows open.

We don't even need air conditioners, everyone has a freezer, just leave the door open.

Summer’s gonna suck the next few years.
The earth is healing itself from a natural disaster that created the Ice Age.
What did you expect to happen, until it is corrected?
Do you think we can stop it?
