Americans consume 25 million Bibles a year.

A good many of these are given out by the Gideons.

The Bible is not only the best selling book in the history of the world, it is also the best selling book in the world, year, after year, after year. Every year.

The material needed is not available in America. Period. So, no employment, and robots can't be used for this.
I'm just curious where in the article it state this specifically about bibles?

I googled "bible paper" and found this:

https://www.thomasnet.com/products/b...6863608-1.html

https://www.thomasnet.com/profile/10...at=Bible+Paper

Also:

https://evangelicalbible.com/printingandbinding/

China isn't the only country.

A 25% tariff would make it difficult to continue printing some formats.....
And nothing in the article, that I could find, stated that there WILL be a "bible tax".

Is there any particular reason to believe this assertion?

How is there a shortage? What do people do with all those bibles? There is nothing new, do people just toss them like a old Goosebumps book and buy new regularly?

I’ve has the same one for so long I don’t even remember how old it is, a little ruff around the edges but it works.

And I go to a black church so it is well used after a 3 hour church session.
