Sanders didn't provide floor leaders for his delegates to the Democratic National convention. The problem they created I believe it was intentional.

I also believe he is too far left. If the progressives nominate someone far left, they may as well vote for Donald Trump. There may be a bunch of young far left progressive, but there is also a bunch of old middle of the road lefties who know how to add.
Sanders is too far left? Maybe you should relook at all your presidential candidates and the TDS in Congress... You'll realize he is pretty moderate on what your party has become... Full term abortion, open borders, Medicare for all... Are Democrats in denial with what they are?

The only perceivable "drawback" of Sanders is of his attachment to socialism, which might be a little too much for moderate democrats, to the extent that it's assumed that moderate democrats might sit at home on election day.

Be that as it may, that's the only "drawback" to a Sanders candidacy. On the flipside, the man is established, experienced, comes across as having a clean past, and, of all of the democratic candidates, it could be argued that Sanders is the most authentic - by far.

So...why has the democrat establishment kicked back on his candidacy?
Bernie is a socialist, the second worst kind of people in the world and sister to Nazi, National socialists.

I saw a ton of popular support for him. I assumed that the media and the party establishment core, were dismissive of him because they didn't WANT people to like him, they already knew that Hillary was gonna get the nomination, which she likely bought and paid for. I really think that the anger that a lot of Dems felt when she got it instead of him, was a significant reason that Hillary didn't get more votes. I saw a lot of "Never Hillary" sentiment going around at the time. Not to say those folks voted Trump, but a lot of them stayed home or voted 3rd party or wrote in Bernie anyhow (though he said he didn't want people to do that.) Then the media was telling Dems that no worries, Trump would never win, so people figured "Meh, I can stay home, it won't matter anyways" and that they didn't have to cast a vote for Hillary, since they never liked her anyhow.

I believe this was significant in Trump's win, and I think it's gonna happen again with Biden, in a fairly similar way.

He is an independent, that is why. He only proclaimed to be a Democrat to run for president.

I declare party affiliation when entering the primary voting place in this state.

Neither party would claim me.

I voted for Billary due to court appointments. IMO, she had no business running.
