Thank you jury. Only took 4 hours.

It Took Jurors Four Hours to Find Accused NXIVM Sex Cult Leader Keith Raniere Guilty

There was no shortage whatsoever of lurid testimony over the course of an accused sex cult leader’s trial in the Eastern District of New York, and it didn’t take long for a jury of his peers to reach a verdict. Keith Raniere, also known as “Vanguard” and the founder of NXIVM (nex-ee-um), was found guilty Wednesday of all criminal charges.

All of the charges listed below...

Excellent. I hadn't heard about this guy until I saw a docunews show about the cult. How revolting. I hope he gets lots of time in prison to think about what he's done. He'd better be careful; some of the inmates might think it's funny to carve *their* initials into *his* hide.

Their problems were not only sex related.

Sep 2015...

Legal papers: NXIVM officials probed finances of 6 federal judges, Senator Schumer, others

A former close confidant of Keith Raniere, founder of the NXIVM corporation, claims top officials in the secretive organization used a Canadian investigative firm or other means to sift the financial records of six federal judges and U.S. Sen. Charles E. Schumer, D-N.Y., according to court records.

...
The six judges whose financial records Keeffe alleges were analyzed have all presided over cases involving NXIVM or its perceived adversaries and critics.

...
The judges whose financial records that Keeffe claims were targeted include four federal judges in Albany: U.S. District Chief Judge Gary L. Sharpe; U.S. Magistrate Randolph F. Treece; U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Robert E. Littlefield Jr., and U.S. Senior Judge Thomas J. McAvoy. The judges all have presided over cases in which NXIVM was a party or had an interest in the litigation. Keeffe did not say in her email when the alleged searches took place.

Keeffe alleges the corporation also conducted financial research on two federal judges in New Jersey: U.S. District Judge Dennis M. Cavanaugh and U.S. Magistrate Mark Falk, both of whom have presided over a pending lawsuit filed in 2006 by NXIVM against Rick Ross, a self-described cult tracker.

Persons convicted of a felony in New York can vote after they have been released from incarceration, whether it's a full release or on parole. {bolding mine}

So, I reckon that answers your question with a "No." Or at least, not until he's out of prison.

After all of these years of news reports on this creep and with the help of Catherine Oxenberg, whose daughter was in the cult, justice finally prevails. It took long enough.

I hope the women who did his bidding and wouldn't let these women leave, or eat, are also nailed.

HILLARY’S $30,000 FANS ARE HER ‘CULT’ FOLLOWING

Executives and top associates of the Albany-based NXIVM group – along with their family members – donated $29,900 to Clinton’s presidential campaign, according to federal records.

...
At least three of them – group President Nancy Salzman and the Bronfman sisters – are members of Bill’s charitable organization, the Clinton Global Initiative. Membership is by invitation only and requires at least a $15,000 donation per person for one year.

Last month, the Albany Times Union reported that NXIVM associates gave $31,600 to the state Republican Senate Campaign Committee and provided $34,763 worth of air transportation.

This is such a crazy story and I wish the media was covering it more. It's got everything it needs to be a ratings smash.
