Way to completely miss the point. We welcome immigrants here when they apply legally. Whether or not they contribute on a mass scale.... legal immigrants have always been welcome to try and to get their piece of the American dream.

These people will not be contributing to our country though they will be takers. Or don't you think we should be sensible about who we allow to legally migrate to our country? We can't do it in unlimited numbers either so that's where you missed the point.

Whit it's certainly true that AOC often goes overboard, they are, in the strict sense, concentration camps - concentrating "undesirables" in the equivalent of a prison.

Exactly, she is not talking about ‘death camps’, even though children have died there, she was going by the true definition of concentration camps.

Stop the nonsense. Nobody is being transported in "freight rail cars."

And how are the governments in Central America going to be reformed when their people keep running away from the problem?

Better tell that to Angela Rye over at CNN.. She’s saying that we’re heading for “death camps”. And CNN is running with it. I am pretty sure that most Dems are thinking death camps too.
“Oh my gosh, Trump is sending illegals to death camps!”... you know that they’re eating that BS right up!

And yet...these economic refugees are paying tens of thousands of dollars each to coyotes to transport them to the U.S. border, where they must know they will be detained in centers such as these, for however brief a time. Nobody was paying to get into the concentration camps, however.

And more to the point...once detained, any one of these economic refugees could inform the nearest ICE agent that they wanted to return to their native country, and they would likely be freed by the authorities within 72 hours, something that was most assuredly not true about concentration camps. In any event, most of these refugees are being released into the interior of the country upon promising to appear in immigration court anyway, which offers yet another concrete distinction between these detention centers and concentration camps, where the turnstiles operated in only one direction, that being inward.

Thus it is seen that the lamebrain calling these detention centers "concentration camps" is merely:

An
Obvious
Crackpot

So far, 25 people have died in detention under Trumps stupid policies. They are cramped, standing room only, with people standing on toilets just to have a place to stand.

Concentration camps is right
Right so your logic is what? Because Obama only did it to a third as many then he is the good guy?

This is an inherited crisis that started in the 80's.

So what's your take on rape? Using your logic a little rape isn't bad, only a lot is.

The musings of AOC ultimately help the conservative cause because they make the left look stark-raving mad. Let her keep running her mouth. It's entertaining.
