How do they rule us?

If they are the ruling class, why do they pay most of taxes?

one example...
evidentially you have never heard of the CFR or how candidates are selected and groomed for higher office..
a 150 years ago the only people that had experience in "foreign affairs" were bankers who did business with the foreign countries....hence the alphabet intelligence agencies...manned by "wall street" types...

in the 1970s we had the "church hearings" where these intelligence agencies admitted there were assets placed in ALL media outlets..control the conversation and control the people

this has nothing to do with taxes we are talking about people that "create money" and get the interest on everything

essentially a trillion in interest payments trumps a billion in taxes

That makes zero sense. If I were the ruling class, the system would be rigged to benefit me.

Quite frankly, without question there are people who have more "influence" on the government than the average person. That said, the impact on our lives is almost nil. I don't believe the "ruling class" has impacted my ability to do anything.

you evidently don't know how the federal reserve system works as the create money out of nothing and charge interest...these are private citizens and these families have been doing this for generations

1) "millionaire" is not ruling class. 100 million is a start.
2) The ruling class are the elite who buy congress people. They are the heads of big pharma, big hospitals, big internet. They are the hedge fund managers that somehow get to call their income capital gains. They are the Bain Capitals and Eddie Lamperts of the world who often make money destroying wealth rather than building it, then, if they made money, get to pay a lower capital gains rate on it, or in some cases, get a fake "loss" to offset gains they make elsewhere.

1% is a misnomer. 1% is comfortable.

It is the top fraction of 1%.

For most people, the ruling class is the top 1% of people as far as wealth is concerned -- but to be truly accurate, it is the top .01% regarding wealth who also try to influence policy at the national, state, and/or local level. (This opinion is based on various reading I have done.)

So what is this ruling class? Does it even exist?
The true ruling class are the politicians.
