Once again, how does that work when voters decide who gets the job? If the politicians don’t do what the voters want, they will be fired by the voters.

Voters are persuaded by mass media, and decisions made to protect the billionaires in power by politicians which are bought by these few in power who narrarate the message. They LOVE the 2 party system.. Its internally 70% of the country fighting amongst each other while both parties promote platforms which keep the rich wealthy in some manner or another. Will they debate which side helps more? Sure? But will you ever see a party or major platform that challenges to disrupt the billionaires? Not in the current manner..

We get it. It's been laid out for you several times in this thread, but you have demonstrated that you simply are incapable of comprehending how money influences votes.

Those of us who do have the capacity understand that money absolutely does buy votes. If that were not so, why are lobbyists spending billions of dollars every year courting lawmakers? Do you think they just like throwing their money away on nothing?

He wont get it. He seems to actually believe congress represents anything but the true elite. (.01%)

For small example.

What percent of the population actually supports the law that says the government cannot negotiate drug prices?

What do you think the probability of that law being repealed is?

Why is Billy Tauzin extremely rich? He wrote that law and got paid millions a year later by those same people.

Indeed. And these taxation proposals that would take 70% of individual income and 90% of business income. Yea. That will fly like a lead balloon. The radical socialist movement in the Democratic party makes no bones about their desire to place the bulk of financial assets under their control.

Under their rule nobody would have any major assets. The government would control everything. The scary part is these wack jobs like Sanders, AOC, Omar, Pelosi, Schumer et al see themselves in a position to be at the helm. While we citizens are scratching and clawing to feed our families a bowl of beans they would be jetting off to Paris just to have lunch.

If the Democrats seize power in 2020 Hell is coming with them.

This might not be relevant, but I think it is. I recently watched a movie, "The Company Men" set during the 2008-09 U.S. economic crisis, and it showed the difference between the upper middle class, the lower upper class, the upper class, and the upper upper class as it related to a large company.

Many people would consider the upper middle class guy to be rich (and, yes, he was obviously very well off compared to most people), but he had absolutely no power. It was only the man at the very head of the company who had any real power and maintained his position.

This was an excellent movie, imo, with a stellar cast.

Are you saying the voters have no independent thoughts and they are entirely controlled by the media?

You have not answered even one question.

I don’t remember I have received any money from my party or any politicians.

I do see politicians give 2/3 of our federal budget, trillion of dollars, to the “peasants” while they pay virtually no taxes, and the top 10% income earners fund 2/3 of the federal budget but receive virtually nothing from the government.

Plenty of people love slavery.

How is it moral to force a private entity at gunpoint to accept your drug price?
