* Technology: There has been no new technology since the 1950s. Planes, cars, washinging machines, TVs, computers, vaccines, etc. all existed back in the 50s.

* GDP: Gross Domestic Product is an accounting trick. In now way does it measure "real" economic growth. For example, if the government goes into debt to spend, that increases GDP. The rise of 2-income households has also boosted GDP because domestic work under 1-income households does not count.

* Stock Market: The major stock market indices track the most valuable companies. No doubt, the most valuable companies have been merging and becoming more valuable, but this doesn't mean that the average company is doing better.

The only place Wallbuilder is correct is that, while productivity of workers has tripled, wages have gone nowhere.

Meanwhile, the rich have made sure they got their money from war, debt and deficit (tax cuts) - while piling more onto these same workers who aren't making any more money than in the 60's.
A fine mess we are in......

But, yeah, GPS obviously doesn't work......and that pesky internet which resulted in tens of trillions of new $$ injected into our economy....a nothing-burger!

And wages have basically been stagnant for decades.

But the rich have certainly gotten richer, eh?
