So many assertions. So little backup or proof. (yawn)

Thus it is plain. With no CO2, there is no GHG-effect on planet Earth.
Umm... with no CO2, there is no life on Earth of any kind.

This is just the down payment, Folks.
Looks like a way to get the wall built, just use this as the way.

Most Republicans in Congress are smart people, most went to college.
Deep down inside most of them know the science behind man-made climate change is rock solid and irrefutable.
There's only one reason Repubs are climate deniers: money.
Many of the red states are oil, gas and coal producers. If climate change is fully accepted, a lot of those fossil fuel assets will be stranded and left underground.
For red state deniers, political acceptance climate change is a threat to their livelihoods.
The problem is, climate change is starting to kill people. The denier politicians will have blood on their hands if they continue to deny the truth.
It's all about the benjamins, baby.

What does the one have to do with the other?

"Starting"???

How many people did the ice age 100,000 years ago kill?

And the ice age 50,000 years before that?

Those are just as much "man-caused" as the changes we are seeing now.

Can these govt-uber-alles stop-climate-change fruitcakes get any sillier than they are in this thread?

ALARMIST NONSENSE
The scariest part of the 'alarmist' mantra is a complete disregard for facts by ‘climate scientists.’
Consider that outside the atmosphere, the sun's energy is 1300 W / sq meter, whereas at sea level, inside that 'toasty' atmosphere it is only 1000 W/ sq meter. 30% was reflected back by the 'heat trapping' atmosphere. In fact, the atmosphere keeps Earth cooler than nearby bodies in a vacuum.

- - - TEMPERATURE DATA - - -
● Earth max : (134.33°F)
● Space station max : (250°F)
● Lunar surface max : (242.33°F)

Zero atmosphere = higher maximum temperature
How does a “heat trapping”atmosphere stay colder?

And if heat was being 'trapped,' why hasn't the maximum temperature gone up to a new record level?

Is the “Greenhouse effect” like a refrigerator “trapping heat”?

There is no "heating up" or trapping of heat by the atmosphere when it is COOLING the planet. And since there is no conduction nor convection of heat in a vacuum, that leaves RADIATION. The atmosphere is radiating / reflecting back energy, that COOLS the planet.

More Facts in support - - -
Earth Albedo : 0.3
Moon Albedo : 0.11

(Is that the sound of exploding heads I hear?)

During the Vietnam war Buddhist Monks would protest the war by making the ultimate sacrifice - self immolation.

When I see a few thousand AGW-supporters following in kind, I'll consider buying an electric car, but I need to see some real commitment to the cause, first.

Fossil fuel industry followed the footsteps of Big Tobacco. The hired "scientists" to say cigarettes are healthful, don't cause cancer and so on. Big Oil (including Saudi Arabia and Russia) have done a good job selling the Climate Denier propaganda and fake science. About 35% of Americans have swallowed the bait, hook, line and sinker.

AGW science is real. Climate Denial is a fraud.

You can deny. You can deflect. You can post all the junk science you want denying climate change.

Your denial will do nothing when the bill comes due, when insurance rates skyrocket, when 30 year mortgages become rare and when your property values plummet.

The piper will be paid. Our actions will have consequences. Deny all you want, it doesn't mean a damn thing.

If people insist on living at the waters edge they should accept the cost of doing so. Has earth's climate EVER been stable? Seems to me there were ice ages and massive climate changes that pre-date the evolution of mankind. Can we expect to change it by taxation?
