If they would have been wearing some rapper’s hat who sings about killing police and raping women they would have been golden.

Next time, put a 18+ only sign next to the MAGA hat. Tell the street vendors to follow the new rule. This country is going nuts!
No all hell didn't break loose.

Some conservative media outlet got wind of the story and spread it around.

As conservatives lost their minds that someone didn't like the hats, conservatives then started going on about all hell breaking loose.

No. It's a Grade 8 class of students. That's children that are 13, 14 years old. If it was 8 year olds then yes it might be excused as little kids just buying a bright red hat as a souvenir. When it's 13 and 14 year olds it's children that are being indoctrinated by their parents into politics that they don't understand and are being monkeys mimicking their parents.

.

Why is a MAGA hat a souvenir of Washington DC.

It's campaign accessories. That's not a souvenir that's a campaign contribution (relax I'm joking).

How are the parents indoctrinating the kids into politics when the kids chose to buy the hats?
Do you believe that generally kids will identify with the politics of their parents, in as much as kids identify with politics, at least until they are late teens or early 20's. Do kids not generally share their parents ideology, religion, etc.

Is Yahoo a conservative media outlet or the Cost Star?

You mean yahoo, that conservative media?

You know what some of yours' problems are? You don't own your words or your action. Then you turned around the calling others "drama queen". You yourself said "MAGA hats are not safe for kids." Now you are saying it is the conservatives started going on about all hell breaking loose.

So which one is the truth? Why is MAGA hats not safe for kids? (certainly these are your words) Let's hear it.

I bet the street vendors selling that souvenir are immigrants.

Aren't those on the right the ones who express concern about political indoctrination from the schools? Are we to believe it's OK, as long as it supports your POV, but not OK if it doesn't.

For me, I think I'd be even more upset that my child's image was put on the internet at all. In today's world many parents would not approve of that, regardless of the apparel being pictured. I wonder if parents signed a waiver for that?
