The United States is not, and should never be a Socialist State. It has failed everywhere, and in unsustainable. If you want Socialism, you aren't an American. Find somewhere else to live as you don't belong here.
What is your definition of socialism? Government assistance? Many people in this country are getting assistance with their healthcare through the ACA, both democrats and republicans. Many get Medicaid or Medicare. Farmers are getting money to offset the effects of Trump's tariffs. Is Trump being socialistic by bailing them out? So the people who are benefiting from any kind of assistance aren't Americans?
My critique of Trump is from the right. If hypothetically the only alternatives are Trump or Bernie, I'd have to vote for Trump. If the only alternatives were Boris Johnson or Jeremy Corbin, and I were British, I'd have to vote for Boris Johnson. And so forth. It's an awful choice.
Ideology aside, I'm a single-issue voter: the stock market. I support policies and politicians that are conducive to the continued growth of the stock market. I oppose those policies or politicians which are inimical to the stock market.

The generally-accepted definition of 'socialism' is 'collective (in practice, gov't) ownership of the means of production.'
I actually voted for 4 more years of Trump. Are people aware of how socialism has worked out in Venezuela? Once the most prosperous nation of S. America, they elected socialist Chavez in 1998, and now have major issues with starvation.

I not a big fan of either party's platform right now. The middle is gone and everything is extreme.
Democrats demonize majority White culture. GOP demonizes immigrants and Black people.
Democrats will massively increase the deficit with 'free' healthcare, college, and slave reparations. GOP will increase deficits with needless military spending and tax cuts for rich.
Democrats will make me less safe with de facto open borders that allow worst elements from third world in (along with good). GOP will make me less safe but gutted workplace safety and environmental regulations.

Hilarious. OP asks for Never Trump voters, multiple Canadians vote.
They may have dual citizenship, and are still able to vote in US elections. I have a few friend that do.
They could also be Americans living in Canada.
