I'm tired of those games.

So tired.

And yes both sides do it.
^^Great post.

Yep. The one that actually passed with stuff snuck in that is potentially affecting me and many others in the long run is the "Moving forward for Progress in the 21st century" transporation bill. Buried within, it allowed corporate pension plans to use 30 year average interest rates instead of 2 years because those were much lower.

In short, if GE were required by law to fund their pension to 20billion (just winging it roughly, don't have numbers in front of me.) it now is only having to fund it to around 15billion.

Same goes for every other corporate pension out there.

For me, it's not a ton of money among my pensions, but to someone else, it might be more significant.

Again, it was a transportation bill....but fundamentally changed how much money corporations have to fund pensions with.

He is simply doing all he can to ensure that he isn't forced to serve another 4 years as president. I don't believe that he ever wanted the job. It was all a stunt. I mean seriously, who would ever guess that the Dems would run someone so bad that even Trump could beat them? Now he is doing all he can to make sure even Sanders or Warren can beat him. LOL

He isn't soft, because he has 0 empathy for anyone. He called off the raids to anger his base.

Great racist post.

I'm disappointed, though. It's showing illegals that even AFTER they get deportation notices, this country will do nothing to see them enforced, and they'll be allowed to stay - and we will continue to provide ESOL classes and free lunches to their kids as the neighborhoods and schools where they settle go downhill.
We don't need that footage. Trust me, there's PLENTY of stuff that can be used on Trump come election time. No need for you to worry about that!

My guess is Stephen Miller got himself locked in a bathroom somewhere. The raids will probably be on again once he figures how to get himself out.

Pinning ones hopes on Trump being a liar is statistically a winning strategy.
I'll give him this: he knows how to play his base. The funniest part to me is they don't even have the faintest clue to what's happening.

For years the Left has been telling us that Trump is a monster, a Hitler dictator wanna be with no heart, someone that would tear families apart and put them into "concentration camps" at the border..

Could the naysayers be wrong? Could Trump actually be a human being with feelings for families, kids and soldiers caught in the crossfire of their leaders mistake? How could this be?

I agree with Trump to call off the counter attack but not so much with calling off the raids of illegal aliens that already had their day in court, were told to leave and didn't.

His decisions of course are political so there has to be an angle which I'm sure will soon be disparaged, extrapolated and spun into a negative frenzy by the Left for weeks but what can you do?

Is calling off the ICE raids a good idea?
Neither. Trump is neither soft (unless you mean soft in the head from dementia) nor humane.

He is, however, hyper-aware of his polls and popularity, all the more so since he "officially" launched his re-election campaign, although actually he never stopped campaigning, as a normal president would, since he seems to be unable to live without cheering crowds.

Haven't you noticed that Trump comes up with these fear tactics, only to back down later. It's a pattern with him.

It substitutes for an actual plan that he would actually have to put some effort into.
