Trump did lose face that day but the Dems were willing to keep the shut down going forever.

Who is really the bad person/group?
(D)'s didn't shut the government down. Trump did. That's not what you do when you don't get your way and I said the same about Obama.

During the shut down, Trump regularly spoke about how this is necessary to protect national security though. Im pretty sure national security is a higher priority than some people not getting paid due to the govt being shutdown!

Besides that, there would have been other ways to deal with those people that werent getting a paycheck during the shutdown, considering the security of the nation was threatened, THAT should have been the priority all along.

Thats part of being an American citizen, when it comes down to it, we are expected to stand up and defend the founding principles, even if that means it will create hardships for us, being patriotic is never easy or convenient, it requires the blood of patriots and must be refreshed from time to time.

I guess that national security issue went away when Trump's approval started falling.

Default Is Trump getting soft or more human with calling off ICE raids?

This past week we saw him call back a counter attack on the site that fired the missile that took down our drone. He did this when he found out that up to 150 people were expected to be collateral damage in the attack.

For years the Left has been telling us that Trump is a monster, a Hitler dictator wanna be with no heart, someone that would tear families apart and put them into "concentration camps" at the border..

Could the naysayers be wrong? Could Trump actually be a human being with feelings for families, kids and soldiers caught in the crossfire of their leaders mistake? How could this be?

I agree with Trump to call off the counter attack but not so much with calling off the raids of illegal aliens that already had their day in court, were told to leave and didn't.

His decisions of course are political so there has to be an angle which I'm sure will soon be disparaged, extrapolated and spun into a negative frenzy by the Left for weeks but what can you do?

Is calling off the ICE raids a good idea?

So what you are actually saying is that in your opinion, calling off the ICE raids is the human thing to do?

Just another one of his numerous idle threats - he's very predictable. It's kind of like his 3,500 total lawsuits. Not happy, threaten a lawsuit.

He's threatened people like former FBI Director James Comey (with releasing tapes that didn't exist). He's threatened groups of business leaders (with an import tax), the media at large (with revoking broadcast licenses), to shut down the government (unless there's a border wall), to starve Obamacare (unless there was a replacement), UN member countries (over putting the US Embassy in Jerusalem), European Union member countries (with tariffs), NATO member countries (with leaving NATO), Japan, China, the NFL (with ending its tax cuts), Canada and Mexico (with tariffs). The list goes on.

Hahahahahahahahahahahah!!!! That is truly rich! Everyone, even his supporters, know that Trump only cares about himself. If he ever did anything right, it's because he thought it would make himself look good, gain votes or make money.

Merely your biased opinion not based on any facts. Why would his supporters think that about him and still support him? You make no sense at all.

Yes,yes, Trumper retort... TDS, Orange Man Bad, and all that...
Like I said, you can read this guy like a book. Standby for ratcheting up tension with Iran.
