He got one. The easy one. One which is not creating more jobs and the plants he claimed would be back have not happened.
What has happened was increased supply costs as our companies raised prices to match the new tariffed prices from overseas.
It also allows an outside entity to determine what is right.

The Court's ruling in total:

"The petition for a writ of certiorari before judgment is denied."

Note the 'before judgment'.

The trade group had filed an motion to expedite review of the ruling of the U.S. Court of International Trade, which had ruled that allowed the tariffs to stand under Section 232 of the Trade Expansion Act of 1962.

Since the Court denied the motion to expedite review, the case will now be appealed to a Federal court (I am not sure if district, for a trial on the merits, or the Court of Appeals).

This case will probably be back before the Court in the future. It is a 'win' for the Trump Administration, in so far as it asked the Court to not grant the expedited review.

Do you not understand that rising inflation is a sign of an economy heating up? It appears you don't. That Trump's tariffs aren't showing up in the inflation figures only shows that the rest of the economy is weak enough to keep inflation numbers down.

During the Great Depression and Great Recession we had deflation. Is that what you want? It appears you do.

Had you looked at the link and the chart you would see that was a greater possibility when Obama was in office !!!
Save the fearmongering for those that respond to fear and crawl under the bed and suck their thumbs b/c Trump was elected !!!

When we started to get the deflation in 2009 Obama had been in office only a couple months. That it started climbing over 3% in 2011 is because the economy was starting to heat up.

That Trump has been in office 2-1/2 years and the highest (which only lasted a month) has been 2.7% indicates how tepid the economy is. If the economy was really booming we'd be over 3% for some time now. The lack of demand pressure has been keeping inflation low.

That tariffs have not raised the rate over 3% only reinforces this point. The economy is weak enough that not even tariffs can put the inflation rate over 3%.
