If it were me, Id be more po'ed that $200k of taxpayer money is being spent on something that should not have happened in the first place.

Exactly. If they hadn't tried to enter the U.S. by just bombarding the border, they wouldn't be in detention centers. I'm still curious as to how the U.S. is at fault for this.

Why don't they just do the order and the employees can donate the money they would have earned with the hours worked filling the order. Then they are helping the kids, and the employees themselves won't profit.

It's always easier to tell other people what to do with their money.

This is job abandonment, plain and simple. If the company doesn’t at a minimum write up the people who walked out they will gain the upper hand for any and all issues.
