We agree on that statement at least.

1) Maybe, but that still seems like a risky move not to take action. Normal people don't condone this kind of thing regardless of who the wet one is.

2) Protests? Is she black? White people don't protest.

It was clear that there was some degree of sarcasm, but it WAS a comparison between the Husseins and Trump.

Now, if your first response was, “It’s just hyperbole, I’m not serious.”, it would have been obvious.

But instead, you were doubling down on it. Trying to justifying it. Then after all that, THEN you finally said “Oh, I was just kidding.” After all that, it’s hard to believe that you didn’t actually mean it on some level.

Damn! You're putting a lot of work into this.

I'm no fan of the Trump family, but him coming away as the "bigger person" and not retaliating is by far the best play here. He actually comes across as a sympathetic figure. So we even have Lori Lightfoot, the new leftist sensation mayor of Chicago, calling Eric Trump to apologize and pressuring the cocktail bar owners to "do the right thing." The server's actions are almost universally being condemned and she's basically in hiding instead of talking to every media outlet. Why create a martyr with an over-the-top response?

Also, "conduct like this" is still incredibly rare for a country this size and in an era where the extremists are more content to troll the other side and get a reaction instead of winning with ideas and optimism. Eric Trump can go to all the swanky bars and restaurants, most of which are located in cities where the Trumps are about as popular as nuclear war, and 99.9999% of the times he's not getting spat on.

In this case, the spitter didn't either.

BUT, this is really the deplorable society desired by many deplorables.....they supported the Bundy Ranch thing, the takeover the Fed. Wildlife Reserve and also the GOP legislators threatening death and paling around with "militia" from out of state.

We cannot expect this country to be a better place when our Reality TV Stars act like all the Trumps and their friends.

in other words you two think that the first amendment doesnt apply to the trumps, is that it? so because you hate the trumps, you want them to shut up, or have to deal with people on the left who are willing to commit a crime against them just because they speak their mind.

So wait a second, is Jimmy Carter a bloodthirsty killer like Uday.....or just Hitler?

We need to know where he falls on the spectrum of murderous dictators.
