I could see this tipping the country into a full revolution. Maybe not a shooting war but states pulling back and refusing federal laws. It could be the first step in the dissolution of the United States. It may take 20 years but I think once it's started there would be no stopping it.

The inland states have already dammed up the water. It's also where the food is.

What do you think Government and Military forces will be armed with, they have aircraft, UAV's, tanks etc and they have powerful grenade launchers. The US Military patrolled bases on vehicles in Europe with Mark 19 Grenade Launchers during the Cold War, a weapons so powerful it could destroy a brick wall from miles away. Almost all of the laws you speak about are symbolic and easily defeated. Many of them are being reversed because they have proven to be unconstitutional, like the magazine capacity.

The Laws relating to proper military type weapons are still in existence and you can generally only buy certain weapons in the US.
The debate taking place in the US is in relation to whether the law should be extended to include some other weapons that have been used in mass shootings.

Why do you think the liberals are bringing in all of these foreign invaders? They are going to be their foot soldiers. When this war breaks out, it will be ugly. And don't expect the people holding the puny guns against the military that can be controlled digitally by silicon valley to be victorious. We are dealing with invaders that cut off people's heads and put them on spikes, or put suicide vests on and blow up half a block. Silicon Valley will release their unmanned drones to drop bombs and chemical weapons. Poison our food and water supply, or release deadly diseases that only the elite have the vaccines for. The only thing that could save us would be if there really is a God.

Yes, the Left would control most of the coastline on the West/Northeast areas, but the Right will control the Gulf of Mexico and the Southeast coastline. More important, the Right will control most of the energy and food supplies. Plus, most of the American "Warrior Class" will move to areas controlled by the Right, so the Right leaning States will have a strong military force. Unlike the areas controlled by the Left since most Leftist would never join any Armed Force.

What is more likely to happen is continued tiny incremental stuff like we already have, like banning this accessory, that caliber, that bullet type, some other barrel length, etc etc. Add in a few more boxes that have to be checked on the "common sense background check" that make buying anything firearm related about as hard as Class III stuff is now (and as costly) and the overall effect is to simply bury the 2nd Amendment under an avalanche of red tape, which will simply drive people away from even trying to procure firearms or ammunition, and then you simply let time go by and hope attrition takes care of the rest.

How is Ca going to grow its crops when other states cuts off it's water and STOPS sending gasoline to it? Tractors do NOT run on air.
