in the end it is ONE ship, not a fleet of them. we send out warships to other countries all the time, even in the chinese and russian sphere of influence. so are you saying the russians cant do the same? is the US navy the only navy that can sail the high seas?

Yes. The same way we ignored Russian Submarines in the Gulf of Mexico.
But of course Obama was President then, so nothing was said. Now that Trump is President the Russian warship must mean "Trump stole the election".
The Russians backed Trump because:
1 They correctly estimated that he would cause the most diplomatic distance between the US and Europe.
2 They correctly estimated that electing Trump could cause more internal divisions than Hillary.
And by all estimations, Trump is outplaying them all.
Means that US and Russian Naval assets are bumping heads all the time. Just Like us the Reds have boomers within missile range all the time. Not as many as they did in the 80's but they are there....
The type of ship, the intent and what else is coming behind it, is what matters. Keep trusting the Russians as your buddy...
oh please, grow up, as i noted the US AND china do the same thing around the world, as does britain, france, italy, and every other country with a blue water navy.
