It rang hollow because you don't like him. It wasn't about politics, it's was about our country and it's history.
If he was someone you liked, or say any Democrat no matter how blithering, you'd be praising the speech. You know that right? Acceptance is half the battle....
If it had been someone else, the speech would have been unlike that - being more natural and humanly delivered, genuine and heartfelt, not having been reliant upon a Teleprompter, having the same content or being military-based.
I agree. It was a very nice presentation. I think it’s absolutely disgusting that major networks didn’t carry it. It really shows just how far the hatred goes for him when networks like the big three don’t broadcast a salute to America, which is what it was on July 4th. ABC, CBS, NBC, you are deplorable.
It's not about hatred. It's more about who cares. I wouldn't watch any president give a speech on the 4th.

I still blame the media for giving Trump so much free airtime when he was running in 2016. That’s why he won. The media liked the increased viewership of people who were enjoying Trump’s clown show. The media failed to do any investigations of Trump and his dishonesty. If they had, maybe we wouldn’t have this lousy President sitting in the White House.

The Network stations refuse to televise it. Cable News MSNBC refused to televise it, PBS refused to televise it ......... AND there are no Threads about the Speech itself.

The Leftists Boycotted the one person who Celebtated American Greatness on our 234fth Birthday and reminded the American People of our tremendous accomplishments, while honoring not just the Military that has been willing to give their Lives for our Freedoms, but also the regular Normal People who have worked long and hard because they LOVE this Country and what it represents to all who love it.
