Trump blames rain and teleprompter for his July 4 speech gaffe

Still, Trump insisted he “knew the speech very well.”

“So I was able to do it without a teleprompter,” he said. “So the teleprompter did go out. And it was actually hard to look at anyway because there was rain all over it.”

Oh you really can't expect a president to know things ... or ... read. Please! It's so unfair to have these expectations of the greatest president who ever presidented. Besides, he was flown in his luxury helicopter during the revolutionary war and you weren't!

We are all still waiting for that amazing health care plan Trump was working on.

ME ME ME is so much better.

If your insurance went up it's because your "welfare" was less...unless you are going to tell us that you spend over 10K per person per year (the average cost of heath care in the USA currently 10.8K each)....

So, if a family of 4 isn't paying 40K+, the government and taxpayers and future generations are picking up the tab - PERIOD. I can see what it might be upsetting for the government to only pick up 1/2 your tab instead of 3/4 of it, but not so if you are someone who yaps about welfare and entitlements.

The problem is the Capitalist Health Care system....predatory. ACA was just to get more people covered and to somewhat standardize (prevention, not allowing junk policies to be sold).....the cost curve is an entire other issue, one completely ignored by Republicans (double digit increases and people dropped from the roles during GWB)....

But spending doesn’t necessarily correlate to actual cost of various treatments. Overall spending might decrease or rise less rapidly because less treatment overall is being sought.

Trump’s mouth writing checks that couldn’t be cashed. He probably thought he could run his mouth without consequence because there was no way in H E double toothpicks he would win.

I wouldn't be surprised that the majority of people who have fallen for Trump are younger ones under 30 or 40. Older people from long past experience from politicians know better than to trust them further than they can throw them. Instead, they trust politicians to cunningly try to lie and manipulate them for votes. I feel a major reason people don't vote is because they would only get an uneasy feeling they were led into the voting booth based on believing total lies and half truths.

We’re used to Presidents speaking with such precision, because words have consequences. This is just weird.
It is not “weird”
It is senility or mental/speech cognition dysfunction
