Remember when the movie Sicario had the scene with prayer rugs left by Muslims being smuggled into the US and Trump cited that as proof the border was being infiltrated by terrorists???
The man lives in a video...

So, you're saying Don Ameche DIDN'T invent the telephone?

Even if he wanted to give some credit to Bell, he's have to say that the "Boston Liberal Educated Brahmin" society was what much of his final inventions were built upon...

I don't think a Plantation Owner would have come up with anything like that!

Of course, a guy from CT invented the interchangeable parts rifles and the cotton gin and much more...that made the country "great". And old Ben Franklin, a believer in Science.....and building codes and such.....invented a lot of stuff in the liberal tolerant La-La land. And Edison too!

And so it generally went with like 90% of the stuff that made America great. But now some welfare kings and queens and opiate addicts want to take credit for all of it...because they have white skin!

Amazing. Trump would have made fun of all the deaf children that Bell taught.

If this economic mess continues that long I will be upset......Americans need to have the basics covered. I deliver meals on wheels (in the south) and am appalled at what I see.

The new definition of a Great America seems to be dying young and living in a shack.

Bottomline is this: Trump ran for president not because he wanted the job, but because he wanted the media attention, which he got in spades. He really wanted to negotiate with NBC to get a big bump in $$$ for his Apprentice show. His long-time friend of 30+ years (Howard Stern) has gone on record about that and Howard knows because Trump told him his strategy when he first announced his run.

What did America do? Instead of seeing this guy as the obvious con man he is (and has always been, which is well-known in his NY circles), instead of realizing he was playing a long con for publicity to make a deal with NBC, instead of realizing he had no actual interest in running the country or even any knowledge of what the job actually entailed, they voted him in to the most important job one can hold in the U.S., with help from some foreign friends along the way. He admitted during his 1st meeting with the outgoing President he didn't realize what all the President was responsible for. This isn't rumor--he was overheard saying exactly this.

You put someone in a job who literally didn't want the job, didn't know what the job would involve, had no real intention of doing the job, and was as shocked as anyone else when he was elected. Stern also went on record saying Donald was "pizzed" he won; that was not the plan at all and Trump was shocked and not happy about it. Look at the pictures of Trump after he got his first debriefing for 90 min his first time at the White House the day after the election. He looks miserable. These aren't rumors--Stern knows the guy and has known him for decades.

America got conned bigly.
