BBC, nah. They are embroiled in multiple controversies in the UK including the decision to impose the television license on the elderly who previously got it free. This while paying their executives exorbitant salaries.
Though admittedly they aren't nearly as bad as CNN. The UK still has equal time laws on broadcasters.
Can't answer but then again I don't know a network that is "fair and balanced" either or that "reports and I decide"......however, I think CNN.com is one of the top 3 news web sites.
I don't trust any news service. I read all of the articles from all the sources and then decide for myself. I prefer listening to the BBC news service in order to hear news from all parts of the globe.
Yeah, one thing to watch out for isn't even the coverage though but rather what is or is not selected to make it to the national level.
For example, if an illegal drunk drives and kills a family we know which networks will report it and which won't. Ditto for if some white gal gets in a shouting match with her black neighbor and drops an N-bomb while arguing over a parking spot.
Not really. I've spoken about CNN's decline on many occasions here over the past couple of years. They were my news source for almost 30 years until I finally got fed up with their new attempt at rebranding and wayyy too much Trump coverage. I don't want to read 17 news stories related to Trump, there's a big country and world out there that I'd like to learn about especially when half the stories are utter garbage like what celebrity got in a tweet fight with him now or Melania's hat being racist...
