I'd go about my business and conduct myself as I normally do.

That's what grown ups do, but it's quite apparent how many people here didn't get the memo.

No, and neither would I for Pelosi, Schumer, Schumer's niece (and that's saying a lot), Maxine Waters...….

McConnell outplayed the hapless community agitator. Now leftists are blaming him for Obama's loss of the US Senate.

I'll say this. Obama's horrible policies and subsequent electoral losses cost the Democrats a generational opportunity to change the Supreme Court. That must sting them badly.

No wonder they are so worked up that seeing McConnell eating some food would cause them to just stand there and foul themselves.

I don't think Mitch would show up at the Costco food court which I frequent on a regular basis and mix with the masses.

Why would I behave like a child because someone walked into a restaurant? I would mind my own business, act like an adult, and let them eat in peace. This would be the same if it were Mitch or Nancy P. or even AOC. Though I might giggle to myself a bit at AOC.

Nope.
However, I think that he should be concerned how the restaurant's staff and owner will treat him.

They sometimes eat at the Old EbbittGrill across from the WH - He and many others senators etc might have been there-but I pay good hard earned money to eat their food. I don’t care who is in the next booth - or at the bar. It’s time off work - if I had something to say be at the Capitol
