Trump made a good point that when Acosta made his ruling about Epstein ten years ago, few people had a problem with it and now they are second guessing.
Few people knew about it. Including the victims that should have known about it so that is not a good point.

It is also a violation of the law.

Meeting Epstein's attorneys without any of his staff around is questionable at best.

Acosta won a number of sexual misconduct cases with less evidence. There is something fishy here.

Glad the SDNY is on the case.

Trump made a good point that when Acosta made his ruling about Epstein ten years ago, few people had a problem with it and now they are second guessing. If the choice was Epstein getting off scot free or having minimal punishment, Acosta made the right choice. I'd like to know if the laws have changed since then in cases like this.

Few people were even aware of it. But now due to the great reporting of "enemy of the people" Julie K. Brown everyone is aware of it. And all decent and honorable people are appalled.

Can't help but wonder how Trump and Acosta thought he could ride this one out.

Maybe Trump believed that Epstein was a star, because after all when you're a star, they let you do it. You can do anything. Grab 'em by the such and such.
