Look, if the Washington Post can't even get a weather story right...
Quote:
"We understand why the nation’s attention is on New Orleans right now, and it’s something we all welcome. But if you’re here to cover a potential hurricane flooding New Orleans and you’re already lying about the weather outside or suggesting there’s some sort of mass exodus underway, you’re not interested in getting to the real story. You’re just here to film some disaster porn and leave as soon as possible."
The Washington Post: "Anxiety grips New Orleans as residents flee the city, brace for heavy rain and hurricane force winds." This was accompanied by a photo (see link above).
Response from Bayou Brief: "Those aren’t anxious residents fleeing the city; they’re two white tourists dudes rolling their suitcases outside of Brennan’s, a fine dining restaurant, in the French Quarter. Oh, the humanity!"
The Washington Post story was so inaccurate it caused the City of New Orleans to respond on Twitter (7/12/19) that the WaPo headline was not factual and that there were several inaccuracies in their story and for people to follow authorized city accounts for information on the storm.
Must be those pesky "anonymous sources" giving WaPo bad info, again.

Lol, the far left msm huffing and puffing up some sensationalism for clicks and $. They’d sell their own family members for a scoop or just make s*it up

This is what the media thrives on. They must have a big story like this to keep them going and the more sensational, the better. This is what they also do daily with their political reporting.
