WoW Progressive Democrats are fighting with Obama/Clinton "New Democrats". It's a sight to see. This time Rahm, Obama's Chief of Staff and ex Mayor of Chicago, calls out AOC and her chief of staff for calling all of them racists. Apparently AOC's staff said this.

https://twitter.com/saikatc/status/1144390048172974081 WOW!

Rahm Emanuel: AOC’s Chief of Staff Saikat Chakrabarti is a Snot-Nosed Punk

Not a Rahm fan, but he's right. These lunatics are turning moderates off to the Democratic party. They WILL lose in 2020 if this continues.

What Rahm said.
“What votes did you get?” Emanuel said, rhetorically challenging A.O.C.’s chief of staff. “You should only be so lucky to learn from somebody like Nancy who has shown incredible courage and who has twice returned the Democratic Party to power.

“We fought for years to create the majorities to get a Democratic president elected and re-elected, and they’re going to dither it away. They have not decided what’s more important: Do they want to beat Trump or do they want to clear the moderate and centrists out of the party? You really think weakening the speaker is the right strategy to try to get rid of Donald Trump and everything he stands for?”

The Old Guard of the Democrat Party is already Far Left Progressive. The fact that they are in disagreement with AOC and the others that are even more radical says a lot.

Rahm was responsible for recruiting a lot of the blue dogs, so that's doubtless why he's miffed that this guy called them racist. The idea was to run conservative Democrats in conservative/swing districts in order to build a bigger D majority. He did this as Pres. Obama's chief of staff, IIRC. The blue dog coalition had 54 members after 2008, but lost most of them in the 2010 GOP blowout, after dems rammed through Obamacare in March 2010.

Rahm is right, but he has no business throwing stones. He has a well-worn background of playing ID politics. When he ran for Chgo. mayor, the race was all about race, and he did nothing to defuse it. He was the white candidate, Mosely Braun was the black candidate, and there was a Hispanic candidate whose name I forget. Rep. Danny Davis (D,IL) said it was fine to splinter along racial lines, because growing up as a boy on the farm, he saw that chickens followed chickens, and turkeys followed turkeys.

Jesus Chuy Garcia.

Big difference between throwing stones against the people you're running against and what AOC and her CoS are doing.

LOL, she was crushed when she first held power and is losing all control this time.

I am perfectly fine with the party of Pelosi, Rahm, Obama and Hillary losing.

I agree.

And I doubt there is a single policy of Pelosi's that I could ever or would ever agree with - but I admire her for taking on the chin for YEARS and getting up, fighting back and knowing how to control her party.

The thing with AOC and her chief of staff is that they're still bright eyed, bushy tailed and think that they've resposible for creating the wheel.

AOC will eventually crash and burn. Eventually.
