If that fertilized egg is left alone to develop naturally it becomes a human being. So anyone who tampers with or destroys it is ending a human life. It's not really that hard to understand.

Fertilized and developing sea turtle and alligator eggs are protected by law but human ones aren't. That's some flawed human thinking right there, isn't it?

Thats called potential.
Human beings are not an endanger or threatened species. Nor are they oviparous.

Ending a potential human life... not a life.
15-25% of all pregnant women loose their embryos before week 12.
Many without even knowing they ever where pregnant.

Then there are stillbirths...

Then there are 25 women pr 100.000 dying because of giving birth in the US.

Humans are not in danger of going extinct..

Oh... so you can grab that fertilized egg and leave it on the countertop and it will be just fine? Or do you have to stick it in the fridge?

That exciting phrase that means "we're just kicking this around and haven't proven in scientifically."

Here’s a statistic that’s interesting and related to the topic. According to an ABC poll, only 32% of Republican women favor legal abortion while a majority (51%) of Republican men favor legal abortions.

Oddly enough, this kind of makes sense: Republican men are also more likely than Republican women to have mistresses.

Republican men are much more likely than Republican women to favor legal abortion, 51% vs. 32%, per new @ABC News/WaPo poll. (link: https://abcn.ws/2NLbn12) abcn.ws/2NL

When humans become an endangered species, I'm sure that'll change.

But, we won't. There are way too many of us already.
