It should be noted that both sides of the spectrum engage in linguistic legerdemain. A good example from the right is 'partial birth abortion,' a term that was coined by pro-life activists and never used by abortion providers.

The difference is that the MSM refused to go along with the game, and most would not even print the term 'partial birth abortion' without a disclaimer of some kind. When such terms originate from the left, the MSM generally will go along with the game.

Wow, what an interesting article. (Happy?)
It's not only language we speak, but also language we type and imagery too. The left is very big into social media such as YouTube, Twitter and facebook. The left will judge you if you don't have a rainbow flag on your social media page, or posting BLM. Now you are looking for a job, and you have an feminist HR manager who is looking to hire you. Due to what she sees on social media page being bland and void of anything LGBT, feminist or BLM. Your application is rejected. Scary times are ahead of us folks. Be safe out there. The eldt has moved the Overton window.

That feminist HR manager would probably reject the applicant for any social media that is not favoring or mentioning someone who is not a conservative and straight White male that IDs as a male.

Another very good example of this is the term 'dreamer.' It says essentially that that debate is over before it even starts. Who could be anti-dreamer? I have seen a few news articles where a disclaimer is included with the term (in the manner as with 'partial birth abortion') but usually not. The MSM goes right along with the game.

It came up here when a 'dreamer' committed a brutal rape of a woman in an apartment complex gym.

At that point the disclaimers did start to appear in local media outlets.

First comes the fake language, then comes the fake news.
